My daughter had life saving surgery at St Georges PICU and I can't praise the staff highly enough. From the surgeons to the cleaners, everyone was incredibly professional, thoughtful and caring. I hear a lot of people moan about the NHS but I have had nothing but great experiences. My daughter was also born at St Georges 6 years ago where we spent a week in the maternity ward and again the staff were fantastic and made what was a very difficult labour much easier. The nurses also provided exceptional care afterwards. They are very short staffed on the Nicholls ward and the nurses and doctors have to work incredibly long hours and so they are stretched. Despite this they try their best and always with a smile for me and my little girl. Thank you very much everyone.
