"Awful service in A&E"

My 5 year old son woke up with a rash all over him so we took him straight to Johnson, lady who was on reception was unbelievably rude and told us we should have called 111. We were concerned for our son and he was upset and the lady just upset him even more. She told us that they are not an NHS walk in center and that we should have taken him to Peterborough (20 miles away) but would get us to see a doctor as we were there. There are ways to communicate to the public and the staff need training in this, they should have seen how upset my son was and been much more sympathetic. When young children are involved you just want help as soon as possible. However, the doctor we saw was very friendly with our son and really helpful.
