"Being a mother to four children ..."

About: Booth Hall Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked Being a mother to four children its always nice to know that in times of particular stress such as the illness or injury of your child their are going to be people their to help you through this time, we have been to Booth hall a few times now, first time being in October when my 8 yr old had fell but developed cellulitis in the sore on his arm, he was admitted for four days where he received such fantastic care that he didnt want to come home and wanted to come back in for his hospital food lol, next was my 2 yr old daughter who was admitted in January 2004 for a hernia operation again she was treated so well on the day ward and despite being absolutely terrified the staff did their best to ensure her time there was as stress free as possible. Last visit was in Nov 2008 when my 2yr old fell downstairs and put her teeth through her lip, she was initially took to Fairfield hospital but was later transferred to Booth hall for possible surgery, thankfully it wasnt needed but the staff where lovely. What could be improved? My only comment really on the last visit was that instead of shutting the curtains of my daughter who was able to eat the staff shut the other childrens curtains so they didnt see my daughter eating which meant a child who had been playing on the ward had to be kept in his area behind the curtains, it would have been better to just shut my childs curtains and let the other kids carry on playing Anything else? Nothing else, the staff do an amazing job
