I should like to report the kindness, consideration and professionalism of the staff who have been dealing with my deafness and hearing aids, especially one person who has put in a lot of time. The drop-in system is particularly helpful, as it avoids the perennial problems of actually contacting anyone at MRI by telephone. It means patients can work with the system without becoming bogged down in bureaucracy. The advice given is clear and helpful, and there is friendly support. All the people I saw treat you as an intelligent person and give you choices about your care. It seems to me a model of how the NHS should work.
