"Emergency surgical children's admission"

Following a GP referral to Ward 17 my 14 year old daughter was assessed ,admitted, reviwed by the surgical team and had her appendix removed the same day. The ward and surgical staff were reassuring and supportive, and we appreciated that we were given an individual room post operatively. The facilities for families to use were very helpful. We were given clear instructions prior to discharge. Thanks to everyone for a good and efficient service.
