"Excellent standards of cleanliness and overall..."

I am 78 years old and continue to work as a nurse today and this is since 1965. I was so impressed with the care on this ward, gleaming clean commodes and floors and this was true for the overall environment and equipment. I have worked there in excess of 10 yrs ago and the improvement to care environment is phenomenal and credit and recognition is due to this fabulous team. Prompt response to control my symptoms of pain and nausea. My dignity kept intact and all ward staff and clinicians were friendly, approachable and communicated to me and my fellow bed mates so well. It is important that this hard work and good practice is publicized in a time when there is so much negativity on poor standards of hygiene is abundant. I am glad to go there for my next orthopaedic operation sometime this year and I cannot speak highly enough of this ward team from the cleaners, porters. therapists, nurses, doctors and admin and anybody else who works on this ward.
