From entering the hospital everyone was very professional, kind and helpful. The Nursing staff were really cheerful and very reassuring. In fact, one of the nurses told me that at West Cornwall Hospital she had “the best job in the world”. The anaesthetist came along and talked about the procedure with the anaesthetic, then the surgeon came along and talked about the procedure in Theatre. They explained everything fully to me so that I knew what was happening at all stages of my treatment. The surgeon came around the ward and spoke to all his patients after surgery. The Nurses ensured that everyone was comfortable at all times and everyone was well monitored during their stay. The nurse who discharged me was very thorough and made sure that I had everything that I needed and that I was feeling well before I left. The hospital was spotless and I was very impressed with the speed and thoroughness of the cleaning of each cubicle as each patient was discharged. I am very impressed with West Cornwall Hospital and the wonderful staff there and I am very grateful to everyone concerned.
"Superb staff"
