"AAU and Ambulatory care"

About: Lister Hospital

Last Friday i went to my GP and to cut a long story short sent me to A/E with a suspected DVT. After precautionary clot busting injections in my tummy and a scan yesterday i was given the all clear and a diagnosis was made possibly Phlebitis or muscle strain.... i just wanted to say the care and compassion and expertise i received from the aau and ambulatory care was second to none. I was scared to be honest however they put me at ease and looked after me with true professionalism....Not because im a member of staff because i was a patient that was in extreme pain and very uneasy about the whole thing.....Well done Lister again you never fail to amaze

Thank you for getting in touch and letting us know how you felt so well looked after during your recent time in the hands of the Lister's emergency services. We'll make sure that our A&E, acute assessment and ambulatory care colleagues get to read you kind words as quickly as possible.
