"Valuable to have an hour to talk to another person who is willing to listen "

About: Inclusion Matters Liverpool

(as the patient),

The service makes a difference as it is very valuable to have an hour to talk to another person who is willing to listen and offer neutral guidance.

CBT techniques are useful ways of recognising mental health issues without stigmatisation. It is a universal experience to go through emotional cognitive and mental health issues, therefore techniques that listen to this point and enable more focused ways to address issues is very helpful.

Possible changed would include this service as more long term – if desired. Also, I think some sessions should just consist of talking.

Dear Quiz329,

I am pleased that you found CBT helpful and that you especially found it helpful to have the opportunity to talk to someone and feel listened to in a non-judgemental way.

CBT is a time limited intervention however hopefully you will have learnt some skills and techniques which you be able to use in the future. You might find it helpful to have a look at our website where we have some useful information and resources that you may find helpful in your on-going recovery.

Many thanks for your feedback

Best wishes

Tracey
