I would like to say a big thank you to the Consultant (Harry Belcher), and the Theatre team, for the operation to remove a Ganglion Cyst from my right hand in April. Their friendly, caring and professional manner put me entirely at ease during the operation.
My few hours spent at the Queen Victoria Hospital was a very positive experience. I was warned that I may need pain killers after the operation, but only needed them on three separate occasions in the few days afterwards.
I’ve followed all the advice on the fact sheet I was given, and my hand seems to be recovering nicely. I can now drive without the cyst digging into my wrist, and don’t have to feel self conscious about the sight of it. Once again, a big thank you to the lovely members of staff I met at the QVH.
"I would like to say a big thank you..."
