"Friendly and pleasant experience"

I recently visited the GU (GUM/ Sexual Health) Clinic at Musgrove. Not the most comfortable of places to visit, for any age or gender. The clinic is in a separate building, off from the Old Building. Despite the ages appearance, the staff have made the best use of the space and facilities provided, The waiting rooms are cramped. but, the staff are exceptionally friendly, kind mannered and helpful. The team at Musgrove made me feel comfortable speaking about my sexual health, activity and all genitourinary related questions. Nothing I asked was too trivial or silly, they were fantastic. They made time for me and unlike the previous experience at a GU clinic, where it felt shameful to be in attendance, i have come away wanting to sing their praises. I live over 25 miles away from the hospital and GU clinics local to myself are few and far between, I do however feel that it was very much worth the extra travel for the level of care, treatment and information received. I recommend Musgrove to anyone seeking the services of a GU or sexual health clinic. This is a clinic that could make the visit more bearable, especially when you are embarrassed, anxious and talking about very private and personal things
