"Second to none"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

I was admitted to arrowe park hospital on easter saturday with a massive internal stomach bleed, caused by naxproxpen , an Anti-inflammatory pain killer, I required a transfusion of 4 units of blood and further investigation with an endoscopy and a colonoscopy The care and treatment I received at arrowe park was second to none. The staff, all of them, from the cleaners and the ladies who served my meals, to the hard working nursing staff, were cheerful and did their very best for me. The doctors kept me fully informed at every stage and my doctor had a chat with me and my wife.explaining everything. I have nothing but praise for arrowe park hospital and especially the staff at ward 36 gastrobleed unit Thank you all

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are extremely grateful that you have taken the time to provide this feedback. Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated. We have passed your kind sentiments to staff on Ward 36. If we can be of further assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on freephone 0800 432 0251, email wih-tr.pals@nhs.net or in writing to PALS, Arrowe Park Hospital, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, Wirral, CH49 5PE. We hope that you have made a good recovery. Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
