"Why we have to wait so long with nothing being..."

About: James Paget University Hospital

It is now 4 months since i had my accident, i waited 6 weeks to get a MRI scan and another 6 weeks to get results, at time of getting results i was told i would recieve a letter in post with appointment for pain clinic, still waiting, still in chronic pain, i cannot believe that human beings have to suffer with no treatment whatsoever, i have been told to keep taking pain killers, i think its disgusting to be treated this way and i know it cannot be good for me pumping all these pain killers, there obviously is no other option though until i eventually get appointment for pain clinic.

I can't look at your case as I don't have your details, but I would urge you please to get in touch with our Patient Advice and Liaison Service so that they can follow up for you. They will be able to investigate what is happening so this can be resolved. Here is a link to our website where you can find all the contact information. http://www.jpaget.nhs.uk/section.php?id=12200 Ann Filby, Head of Communications
