What I liked
Every member of the hospital staff who came into contact with me went out of their way to help me, look after me and get me well. I could not speak too highly about the whole hospital.
What could be improved
It would have been good if I coudl say that all these lovely people gave an air of feeling valued and appreciated by their hierarchy (ie hospital manangement) but that was far from evident. I watched people work exceptionally long shifts, covering for staff off-sick, with great stoicism and professionalism, but also an unmissable weariness.
Anything else?
It is the front-line of the NHS who are its mainstay. They don't get enough thanks and praise for their unstinting acre and commitment
