"Fantastic service"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

We took our 6yr old grandson to A&E on Saturday evening after a fall which he cut his eye & the service we received was just fantastic. We were in & out in 20minutes. This was brilliant as we had a 2hrs drive home ahead of us. They glued the cut together & we were on our way. I am certain this has helped him by not having the trauma of waiting. It may have only been a small cut to any one else but to a 6 yr old it's a big deal. Thank you to all the staff involved.

Dear Graham Harris

Thank you for taking the time to send us your comments about the service both you and your grandson experienced in A&E on Saturday. As you say to a 6 year old it is a big deal and I am pleased to hear that you were seen very quickly and not experience the trauma of waiting. I will ensure that the staff in the A&E department receive your thanks and comments.

Kind regards

Sue Mellor
