"Cleanliness, staff, time keeping "

About: Royal Preston Hospital / General surgery

(as a friend),

I feel ward 14 is not fit to still be in use. It seems to me the rooms and wards are not clean, everything seems to be broken, some of the lights have no bulbs and some of the staff to me seem rude and I have heard offensive language.

The patient in question has not had his bed changed for three days. He asked for a urine pot and didn't receive one for over an hour and it was still there full over 4 hours later. Medication never seemed to be on time.

One of his machines stopped working to which I myself told the nurse in charge but she never came when I was there. We had to switch it on ourselves when she came to do obs 2 hours later when she did apologise.
