Being offered the opportunity of weight loss surgery by Medway Councils Tipping The Balance scheme was a massive opportunity for me to turn my life around having been overweight for most of my life. After reading many hospital reviews, i decided to put my faith in the bariatric team at St Richards. From my first vist right up to surgery, i couldn't have asked for a more professional and caring team of people. There are many hospitals that perform this type of surgery in my local area, but the 200 mile round trip was certainly worth it for the care and attention i received. Since having my surgery in October 2013 i have returned to have another procedure carried out by the surgeon and his team and again received the same level of care. Please pass on my gratitude to every one concerned at this wonderful hospital.
