i was admitted to pocu ward on sunday the 4 th may at 7 30 am.see by consultant and aneasthites by 9 am.went down to theatre at 3 30.had my emula cream applied before going to theatre.catheter to be inserted while in theatre as this had all been arranged before hand.come up from recovery at 7 30 and back up to pembroke ward.staff nice and caring.didnt go much on the lights being left on till midnight each night i was there.but my main complaint is the food on the ward.it was horrible not very warm and tastes awlfull.i hardly ate anything at all.it was only breakfast that was any good.why serve up horrible tasteless food.i had to reley on my partner to bring me up yoghurts and fruit otherwise i would have been very hungry.cant fault the staff and consultants regesters and physios.its the food that is horrible.thank you to all on pembroke ward .keep up the good work
