"Urology Team and SSSU"

I read online that when it comes to excellence in urology services, Stockport has shone brightly for over 30 years and now I know why. I was a patient in the S.S.S.U. over two days in April. This was for a cystoscope procedure to remove a bladder tumour and a TRUS prostrate biopsies, something which can obviously be quite frightening. The consultants were exceptional seeing me before the operation and explained what the procedure would be. More so when they came back later in the day to explain what had been done and what the next steps would be regarding the biopsies etc. My stay in SSSU was also excellent , all the nurses were very efficient and caring and I was very well looked after. To all the Consultants, Nurses and the Specialist Nurse I can only offer my grateful thanks
