I had a cystoscopy in your urologly department on 6th may,I feel my treatmen t was not as it should have been,on recieving an injection which I assume was to numb the area it was a matter of seconds before treatment started which caused great discomfort,surely as with a dentist the area should be allowed 5 minutes to go numb.I feel I may as well not have had one.several people have said this is the case and I await your reply as soon as possible.

We are concerned by what you describe and have forwarded your posting to the Matron and Lead Clinician for Urology. We are very keen to hear more about your experience and would welcome the opportunity to discuss it further.
