"Dont hold your breath"

About: Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital

The treatment I have not received is great. I attended an outpatients appointment in February of this year 2014 to see about two large Hernias I have. The Consultant who I will not name but is a Professor booked me for surgery late March A month later. On the Monday prior to my anticipated surgery on the Friday I decided to ring the Woodthorpe Hospital as I had no pre surgery tests to be told that I was not actually on the theatre list for the Friday and that my operation would not take place. I was then told that they would contact the professor (a consultant surgeon) and ring me with the details. Have a guess not a word not a call not an email nothing I would recommend the Woodthorpe Hospital not be used If the patient experience is as bad as mine.
