"Left without care"

About: St Mary's Hospital (Manchester)

After being induced for pregnancy, i was left for over 12 hours without any checks, this resulted in me reaching full labour and practically pushing the baby out on a non maternal ward, not being believed about contractions / labour, and being rushed in for an emergency operation. Apparently I was in labour for 6 minutes, with the baby being born after 9 minutes, all without drugs or a care from any of the prenatal staff. Baby had cord wrapped round her head, and a ectopic heart beat, and I was a high risk case because of existing medical conditions, but still no checks, it could have ended so much worse. Thankfully the baby is now fine, but the trauma still stays with me. I would definitely not recommend this hospital to anyone else, and after looking online, there are many similar cases. Shame on you St. Mary's!
