"In Jun last year I was admitted ..."

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

In Jun last year I was admitted to the Women and Childrens' hospital maternity unit for the birth of my son. I must praise to the highest standard everyone involved in my 3 day stay. Not a single person can be faulted for their care. Any lady expecting a child can be confident that they are in the safest hands. Don't worry just look forward to your new arrival.

Dear Bev Thank you for taking the time to let us know via the Patient Opinion website of your experiences at Hull Royal Infirmary. We have passed your comments on to Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals Trust, and they will ensure that the staff concerned are informed of your kind words. We do apologise for the delay in responding, but your posting was originally on NHS Choices and we have had some internal communication difficulties regarding some of the earlier postings on Patient Opinion. These have now been rectified. NHS Hull is the organisation responsible for deciding how money is spent on local health services (also known as commissioning), ensuring those services are of high quality and meet local needs. We value all feedback and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further with you. Should you wish to contact our Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS), please call 01482 335409 or by email. Alternatively, our colleagues in PALS at the hospital trust can be contacted on 01482 623065 or by email. Thank you once again for taking the time to provide us with your views on our services.
