I had laser capsulotomy at the Treatment Centre yesterday. I am writing this to say to anyone else "don't worry if you need this". All the staff were lovely, including the doctor, and they made me fell relaxed and confident. The procedure itself wasn't the pleasantest as you have very bright lights shone into your eye for several minutes, but there is no pain and once it's done you can see better straight away. My pupil was still dilated for most of the day so I stayed indoors quietly, and will not do too much today either as there is a very small risk of a detached retina so I think you need to allow recovery and healing time to minimise the risk. But am delighted with the result as my vision is so clear again now in that eye. Thank you to everyone involved.
