I was told by my GP to attend Bradwell Hospital for my blood test. When i arrived at 7:50am i was number 18 in the queue and as i sat there more and more people arrived (i was starting to worry about how long we would be waiting) however the plebotomists started at 8am on the dot and i was back to my car by 8:10am so if you turn up and see a big queue don't be put off as you are in and out in a matter on minutes. (They were seeing 3 people at a time when i was there) I have to say it was the most painless blood test i have ever had. I used to have to go to the pathlab every 3 months for a couple of years and so i used to be fine with having my bloods done however this was my first test in a couple of years and i was feeling nervous however the lady that took my blood asked all the right questions, was sympathetic and got the job done with no hassle...There isn't even a mark. Although you are in and out within 2 minutes i didn't feel rushed and i feel that if they did have a very nervous patient or one that had a history of going light headed/fainting then they would definitely take their time with them. Would recommend, but i would say that going early is best.
