"I was told my daughters case had been closed"

(as a parent/guardian),

I contacted nhs 111 about my sick daughter. A doctor called me back and told me an appointment had been arranged for me at the beginning of May.

However when I made my way to the hospital I was told my daughters case had been closed and could not be seen by the doctor! This was very bad service from nhs 111. Fortunately the doctor squeezed my daughter in for a later appointment but not after we had wasted money on an unnecessary parking ticket.

My daughter had a temperature of 40 degrees.

The helpful receptionist said we were the second complaint for the morning. Not good enough so I look forward to an explanation/apology.
