About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I called the 999 emergency services for medical help as I had pins and needles all down my left arm. I was very concerned about this as I had a stroke 2 years ago.

The paramedics came within minutes and I cannot speak highly enough about the care they gave. They were so caring, didn’t rush me and really looked after me. I cannot fault the service, it was really wonderful.
