About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / NHS 111

(as a relative),

I had to call 111 of a night as my wife was very unwell. We had returned from holiday the previous day and my wife returned to work where she started to fell unwell. They called 111 for her and she spoke to a doctor who reassured her but did not need treating.

When my wife came home from work her condition had worsened and I was getting worried. I called 111 and within minutes the paramedics arrived. They went through everything with my wife, checked everything and made sure she was alright.

It took a load off our minds because they came to see her and made sure she was going to be OK. She was advised to keep taking plenty of fluids and rest.

They were 100% marvellous.
