"Paramedics were 100% marvellous"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / NHS 111

(as a relative),

I had to call 111 of a night as my wife was very unwell. We had returned from holiday the previous day and my wife returned to work where she started to fell unwell. They called 111 for her and she spoke to a doctor who reassured her but did not need treating.

When my wife came home from work her condition had worsened and I was getting worried. I called 111 and within minutes the paramedics arrived. They went through everything with my wife, checked everything and made sure she was alright.

It took a load off our minds because they came to see her and made sure she was going to be OK. She was advised to keep taking plenty of fluids and rest.

They were 100% marvellous.

Dear Mantra525

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope your wife is feeling much better now.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients, and their families, when they need us most.

I would like to be able to share your kind comments with the members of staff who came to your wife. Could you please contact me, at your convenience, at laura.martin@swast.nhs.uk with the date and address that the ambulance attended so that I may be able to identify the individuals involved?

Thank you again for taking the time to provide feedback on our service.

Kind regards
