"Waiting for appointments"

About: Dewsbury Health Centre / Podiatry

(as the patient),

I have attended Cleckheaton clinic for podiatry care since I had two hip replacements, the second in 2003.

No problems with the podiatrists, always suggested I should ring for an appointment 3-4 weeks before my next appointment due (8 weeks service).

In the last two years approximately, to get any information about when I can have an appointment is difficult.

Example - from the last appointment in January, my feet were treated a three months later. I rang in March to be told there was a waiting list but rang three days later to suggest an April date.

The exercises have been, as above, no list to make appointments, other people waiting...

Thank you for leaving your post.

We are constantly monitoring the way appointments are made and looking at ways the system can be improved. If you would like to e-mail me, your personal experiences of making an appointment may well be used in shaping the future appointment system.
