"A&E review"

I was taken to A&E following a horse riding accident. My husband booked me in stating i had a head injury, neck pain and dizziness. I was left sat in the waiting room for at least 30 - 40 mins. My husband had to go up to the desk sever time to request they prioritise me. Once i had been seen the staff were very caring but clearly there were not enough of them to cope with the demand. It turned out i had a broken neck and had to be admitted overnight. The staff were so busy i did not receive any pain relief until i got to the ward 7 hours after i had arrived in A&E.
