"Absolutely discussed! Absolute disgrace! Livid!"

Hello, Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by a hospital system. Your staff are friendly but that doesn't compensate for the fact that none of them know what they're doing or where anything is! I have waited 2 weeks for an appointment referred by my gp for a biopsy (do you know how long that feels to someone? 2 weeks is an eternity waiting to find out if you've got cancer!) Upon on time arrival. I followed the on board instructions and went to the right department. On arrival there the receptionist quite bluntly said no your not in the right clinic you need to be at 107 and they've called you through several times already. (Me thinking what?! I'm on time and been sent to you!). I followed the receptionists instructions and went to 107 where the other nurses and receptionists pointed out I was in the complete wrong area and should be in day surgery clinic! So they were lovely trying to distinguish where I would be seen as I wasn't coming up on any of their clinics! After visiting 2 more departments I'm pretty sure they just squeezed me in with someone in the gynaecology department of all areas! And as lovely as she was guess what happened next? She looked at the moles on my back exactly as my original gp did and then said "I'm going to refer you for a biopsy which will take 2-4 weeks to come through but I will send you to medical photography today to get a photo taken of the moles so we can keep track when you come back in future if we need them". Are you serious! I have been terrified for the last two weeks that I'm having a biopsy today! And no this was not carried out! I had a 2 minute appt with a woman that didn't do the procedure I was sent for and my go offered to take the biopsy himself but thought the hospital Would like to do it themselves which is the whole reason for the original referral in the first place! But wait it gets worse... We followed the drs instructions to go to the photography clinic and since there is such a lack of communication in the hospital when we got there after being sent to 207 when we needed to be in 212? We found it was closed! So I booked a whole day off of work lost a days wages to have no results of progression? I walked out fuming as clearly nothing will be done at this hospital. Quite frankly I would be shocked if they knew the difference between a spatula and a scalpel! I'm livid. I never want to go back again!
