"MIU, might be good when they are open."

About: Blyth Community Hospital

Bank holiday Monday, so I rang through to see if they are open. Yes they were, but on arriving after getting my son dressed in considerable pain I arrive to find them in darkness and a notice saying no service on the bank holiday. What is the point of having a switchboard I they cannot give the correct info!

Dear Sir/Madam I am so sorry that you have been given incorrect information by a member of our contact team. I can understand how frustrating this must have been particularly as your son who was pain. I am sorry about your wasted journey and for any inconvenience to you both. I will ensure that your feedback is forwarded to the manager of the team. This will allow them to discuss your experience and to ensure that all switchboard staff are aware of the correct opening times. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, it is very much appreciated. All feedback is welcomed as it really helps us to understand were we need to focus our improvements. Best Wishes Annie
