Recent right hip replacement (25/04/14) was a fascinating but far less traumatic experience than I had imagined. The surgical team and all the support staff were excellent and so very friendly. All went without a hitch and I was even able to hold a conversation with the medical staff during the operation - something I was not looking forward to. But, why did I worry so much? Imagination, gossip, old wives tales etc etc??? At the end of the day the operation was successful and now well on the way to recovery. Thank you everyone in Orthopaedics.
