"exemplary care"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

My mother was admitted with a broken hip. From the moment she went on to ward 25 she was treated with dignity and respect. I as her carer was given as much information as I needed. Everything was explained to me clearly ..each day my mother praised the nursing staff. Through their support I have been able to bring my mother home but if she had to go in again I would be happy with this ward. Keep up the good work you are all definetly overworked and under paid

Thank you so much for your kind words about the hospital and ward 25 in particular. We're glad to hear that your mother was able to go home, and we'll pass on your compliment to the ward staff who always love to hear from patients and their families.
