"TKR on ward 19 and 18"

About: Leicester General Hospital

The care I was given both pre and post op on 19 and 18 was excellent. After surgery I was taken to ward 18 and couldn't have received better treatment. The staff were supportive and encouraging. When I had a problem with my mobility they couldn't do enough to help me and built my confidence to get over the problem. They were professional and yet human always with a smile. They got my sense of humour which helped so much. So if you have to go into either of these wards I hope this review helps with some of your worries, because they'll do everything they can to help you.
