"A & E service excellent"

About: Tameside General Hospital

I attended the A & E dept today after a visit to Go To Doc. From the moment I arrived I was treated with total respect, courtesy and concern from everyone concerned. The nurses and doctors were absolutely first class and I felt totally safe and secure in their care. They couldnt do enough to alleviate my concerns and worries their professionalism was first class and the speed at which I was seen and thoroughly tested was excellent.

’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved? Please contact John Goodenough, Director of Nursing at
