The hospital is clean and bright and an asset to the NHS. I was admitted for an angiogram with a view to having stents fitted should I be suitable. The care was1st class and the staff were all very friendly and professional. The staff work hard and never seem to be still .It was a very busy ward ,with the hospital covering a very large geographical area. The staff are what makes this hospital a good one and I hope that they realise how much they are valued by those that have to use the Victoria. Special thanks to my consultant who is an absolute hoot and really made me feel settled and relaxed with her sage words of advice etc.The NHS in general would benefit if they had more staff like her. I would have no hesitation in having further treatment at Victoria. My only negative observation, and it seems churlish to mention it in the grand scheme of the work they do at the Victoria, was the lack of a cup of tea . I didnt like to ask the staff as they seemed so busy, but a cuppa would have been very welcome.
