"Ultrasound Appointment"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

I am writing to express my absolute despair at the service of your Ultrasound booking procedure. In the past two weeks I have been referred by my GP for an urgent ultrasound of my neck twice and, following a telephone conversation with the department yesterday, it has been explained to me that the hospital has ignored my GPs assessment and instead processed me for a routine appointment. I do not understand how this is even a possibility. My GP has examined me, knows my medical history and is in an informed position to make an urgent referral. The hospital should not have the right whatsoever to disregard this. You have left me feeling utterly in despair. This is the second time Lincoln Hospital have entirely let me down this month. Because of ongoing health concerns I am infact considering moving out of the area to be near a hospital that actually cares about patient wellbeing. Disgraceful.
