"nasty staff with bad attitudes"

The staff place bets on whether a patient in labour will be a 'screamer' or not. One nurse was placing a bet and laughing about this with another staff member whilst standing next to me and my wife (who was in the second stage of labour at the time!). My wife was upset they were doing this and right in front of us. Ok hospital facilities but staff are stupid and just not nice people. Pete

This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and I would like to assure you that comments of this nature are taken very seriously. A programme of communication training is currently planned for our staff.
