"I was on Petter ward for a procedure ..."

What I liked

I was on Petter ward for a procedure and had to stay in for most of the day with the possibility of being there overnight. They staff were lovely and reassuring and made me feel very safe and comfortable.

My father and boyfriend were allowed to stay with me al day which was lovely because I was quite scared about having to be in hospital; I don't think anyone likes it but being treated well makes it better!

We had lots of refreshments and I was in a side room which made me feel like I had a lot of privacy which was important to me. When I had a few problems (which I thought in my anxious state were serious) the nurses dealt with them quickly and successfully.

Overall the people were fab!

What could be improved

Not much really apart from maybe having more to do in the dayroom.

Anything else?

I am really grateful for the way I was treated while there and I would recommend NDDH to anyone.
