On 30th April 2014 at around 12.30 pm my husband was brought to A&E by Ambulance with a suspected TIA. We were relieved to see the consultant and stroke coordinator from Ward 5 already there as my husband had previously been in their care after a stroke in September 2013. We were treated kindly and efficiently by all the staff who explained each procedure that was needed. Movement around the hospital for CT Scan and ECG were carried out with kindness by porters and my husband was soon found a bed on Ward 2 where we were again treated with kindness. At no time did we feel we were not being informed. We were both confident that we were getting the best treatment available.
