"outpatient care in the Gynae clinic"

About: St Helier Hospital

I had an appointment in outpatients for 14.20, did not notice what time I was called in, I had arrived early for my appointment but was back in my car at 15.20. In that hour I had an extensive discussion and examination, I was treated with great care and my privacy and dignity was maintained at all times, there was a student present and the teaching was delivered with my comfort considered at all times. Before I left the department I had an appointment for a scan, a bladder investigation, a consultation with a physio to check I was doing my exercises correctly and a follow up appointment - all within the hour. What an amazingly fantastic service. I have been a nurse for a very long time now and I am a Practice Educator (the clinic did not know this) I could find no fault with anyone or anything. It made me proud to be a nurse. Congratulations and thank you to the team and sister and her outpatient,s nursing team

We aim to treat all of our patients in a timely way (whilst always making sure our staff are compassionate and protect our patients' privacy and dignity), and are very pleased to read your positive review. We will pass on your comments to the team. Thank you.
