"I couldn't be more thankful."

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

I was brought to A&E after being assaulted and suffering head trauma. I was in pain, confused, covered in blood, scared and upset. From the moment the paramedics attended I was in the best of hands. The care was gentle and thorough and reassuring; at all times I felt that I was treated with utter professionalism and expertise. I observed this high level of care and compassion throughout the various processes I experienced, from reception to examination and x-ray and inpatient and discharge. What an amazing institution and what magnificent staff make up the NHS. What would we do without them? I give you my total and everlasting gratitude.
