"3 day stay following an operation"

I was admitted for planned surgery 24/4/14. From my initial visit to the clinic and the decision to operate, to my discharged from the ward on 27 April 2014, everyone without exception was fantastic, a special mention to the ladies on the waiting list team who kept me informed when my operation was canceled twice, and the lovely nurse who checked me in on the day of my op and looked after me at one point on the ward (sorry I cant remember their names). I was kept informed throughout the process and felt confident and comfortable. I was disappointed with the hospital food...no real surprise there...sadly! But the care, attention detail and the support offered by all the staff made my whole experience a very positive one.
