"What a transformation!"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

My mother was admitted last week following a fall at home. Her dementia means that she is not as stable as she used to be and this is not our first visit to A&E, the last time being some 9 months ago. All I can say is that there has been a tremendous improvement across all areas! From the way staff dealt with her to their sheer professionalism in determining her problem they are to be commended! Thank you to all in A&E and C10.

Thank you for passing on your email to East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust and the Royal Blackburn Hospital. Can I first of all thank you for your kind feedback on your mother’s experience within our department. I will of course ensure that the full team have sight of your feedback which will undoubtedly provide them with a sense of pride and achievement in making your experience such a positive one. As a Trust, we receive regular feedback around how our services are being experienced by our patients and visitors and we like to take every opportunity to learn about what we are doing right and what we can improve upon. We therefore thank you for giving us the opportunity to learn from your mothers treatment. Thank you
