"Truly disappointed by the Antenatal/ Maternity..."

About: North Middlesex Hospital

I also posted a review on the 6th of April rating this hospital with 5 stars. I truly regret it., it deserves 1 STAR. I am pregnant in 8 weeks and I had 2 scans done till now as it seems I have some complications ( pain, small bleeding). I am truly disappointed. No answers were given to me till now, I hadn't been seen once by a Gynecologist, I hadn't had my questions answered. When I had my 2nd scan done, I was seen by a nurse. All she kept saying was "I don't know, I not doctor". From her reaction I guessed that everything was all right. Well it wasn't as I had to return yesterday to AE service, and again to leave the hospital more stressed than when I came. Every time I have a pregnancy problem I have to go to AE service. Why? I am already registered at this hospital. I am looking forward to being registered with another hospital. I don't recommend this poor service to anyone, unless you want to guess your diagnostic and remain in doubt . Being pregnant is meant to bring happiness in one's life not anxiety. Shame on NMH for this poor service ! Vero

Thank you for the feedback. I am really sorry about the apparent rudeness by some of my team. I am the new head of midwifery. Could you please email me at Meredith.deane@nhs.net as I would like to know more about your experience. Many thanks.
