My daughter was admitted to A and E earlier this week by recommendation from our GP. She was almost immediately seen by a triage nurse which was brilliant as we were worried about her deteriorating condition. I was quite astonished at the abrupt tone of the staff nurse. Asking why I had decided to bring Isobel to hospital. When I tried to explain it was as if that was not the answer she wanted even though I was trying to tell her that i had been told by my GP to bring her. Isobel was admitted to the children's ward and gladly managed to make a full recovery thanks to the care of the staff both from A and E and the children's ward. I understand that maybe people admit their children for the slightest thing but in my case we were genuinely worried. To summarise I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at RLI for a fantastic service but unfortunately I think certain people need to learn some basic social skills. Kind regards Greg Smith.
