"A9 ward"

About: New Cross Hospital

The nurses were generally kind and helpful. However the fri afternoon/evening staff did not show much care. I was left for ages waiting for a drink and a bed pan as i was unable to get out of bed due to severe pain. My light was on but was ignored by most of the nurses on the ward. I was in agony and was only offered paracetamol. Thankfully one nurse took the time to help me and was kind and caring and qickly sorted out my concerns. I really appreciate everything she did for me and her kindness really helped me get though a difficult time.

Dear Gavin Williams

Thank you for sharing with us your recent patient experience on Ward A9. I was sorry to read your comments relating to the Friday afternoon/evening staff. To enable me to look further into your concerns, I would be grateful if you could contact a member of the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01902 695362.

Kindest regards

Judith Davis
