"All the highest remars"

My experience with St. Mary's emergency was way over my expectations. I was listened to, and procedures explained and the staff was overwelmingly friendly and competent. and coordinated. I have just spent 6 weeks in Pierre Boucher Hospital, and only 2 doctors paid me the appropriate attention, the plastic surgeon who sewed my leg up, dizzy and fell and went to emergency close by when my ex-husband told me that my dried blood and pus wound was black - when I fell on the floor again and could not get up made me take an ambulance in my nightgown and socks to the closest hospital -l. in a daze and so weak that I never attended to it., was black - with bacteria build up (45-odd staples) "the doctor called a floor sore -close to a bed sore, but much worse. I have no recollection of anything after that - I have no idea how long I was on the floor. The plastic surgeon kept up with my progress, and dressed my wound, explaining his plan to heal me all along. Of the GP's only one was concerned. She did X-rays of my herniated disks and sciattica, in addition to my original wound, seeing me on weekends (usually GPs are 9-5 Monday to Friday. - I received a cortisone shot, and due for another June 7. Unfortunately, the doctor was nasty. He spoke of a convalescent home on Friday night - on Monday, he literally kicked me out in my nightgown from the hospital, my own robe and shoes and socks. No offer of transportation home, and they were already cleaning my room as I put stuff in garbage bags, called my ex-husband who has no car, he called a friend/neighbour to take him to the hospital and give me street clothes to put on and drove me home. (I live next to the neighbour and across the hall from my ex-husband the doctor wrote out the prescriptions - 12 all count, but I had to tell him that the medication to make the calcium go into my bones and not into my blood (an internist saw me over my parathyroid problems, but, in fact, I never got that prescription - only discovered it yesterday but realized that I had not received this medication - pI am sure it was this doctor who screwed this up. The registered nurses and other GP's were fine, but the practical nurses were immature,forever placing their hand on my wound and hurting me, as you can imagine how sensitive the wound was/is , and they were rude and dictated things to me as if I was a child of 5 years of age. the regulations are very rigid. I was discharged too early and fell that night at home and nearly broke my hip and head, falling on a stone floor, erasing all the good of the cortisone shot to my buttocks and back. This hospital would fail any inspection as there is absolutely no communication between staff and/or patients.. Now I discover that I may well have had Sojgen's Syndrome and since Pierre Boucher never caught this, I will wait for renewed health card and take this disease to St. Mary's Emergency.
